Having a Drink

Ben walked in the bar, he took his fedora off and shook the snow off it. He found an empty seat at the bar and waved to the bartender.
"Can I get a shot of firewhiskey. Put it in a larger glass."
It was odd, but the bartender didn't ask any questions. He simply poured the firewhiskey and handed it down. Ben nodded his thanks. He pulled out a vial of blood and mixed it in with the firewhiskey. He took his drink, turned in his seat, and searched the room for familiar faces.

I walk in and noticed a familiar face. I walk over to him. "So have you calmed down since the last time I saw you?"

"Depends. If you're just going to bug me, then no." Ben said casually, without even glancing at Kendrix.

"No, I won't bug you. I'll sit here like a good little girl." I said sarcastically.

"Well then good. I'll buy you a drink then." Ben turned to her and winked. He motioned to the bartender. "A butterbeer for the lady." The bartender slid a bottle down and Ben handed it to Kendrix.

"Um...thanks." I took the butterbeer. "Din't mean to get on your bad side the other day. Ravyn and I just found out we were sisters so there has been tension between us."

Ben shrugged. "Wasn't really you. It was more of your sister that was really getting to me. You were right though, I do have some anger issues."

Ravyn came out of her office and saw Ben and Kendrix. She shook her head and called the bartender. She whispered something in his ear, he looked at her curiously and said, "But...Why would you want?" Ravyn shook her head, "Joe no arguing just give them their drinks," She then walked into the kitchen.

The bar tender walked up and said "Another butter beer for the lady and a Fire whiskey," he cringed, "With blood."

Ben looked at the bartender questioningly. He downed the remainders of his drink and shot a smirk towards Joe. "Just out of the blue, you're giving us drinks?"

The bartender shrugged, "I only do what the boss tells me to do."

"I wouldn't drink it. It might be poisoned."

"Poisoned. That's an interesting concept, seeing as how I'm immortal." Ben muttered as he picked up the drink and swirled it around.

Ravyn popped her head out of the order window, "It's not poisoned he made the drink right in front of you!" she then walked back out, and walked up to Joe, "What ever drinks they get are on the house." she said walking back into her office.

"Makes me wonder why she is being so nice."

"She runs the place? Well everything's just fine and dandy now." Ben snorted sarcastically. "Whatever." He tipped the contents of the glass down his throat and felt the satisfying burn.

"I'll pass. I'm not thirsty." I fiddled with my necklace; something I did when I had things on my mind.

((Joe's POV Just cuz I'm bored))

Joe looked at him, "Yeah her dad bought it for her when she started Hogwarts."

Nothing seemed to happen after a few minutes. The blood portion did taste slightly funny though. It wasn't human blood, either that or it wasn't very fresh. Ben grimaced, but ignored the feeling. He turned to Kendrix. "Have you heard from him lately?"

"Spoiled brat." I say about Ravyn. Then I look at Ben. "Heard from who?"

I walked into the bar and noticed a few people, sitting away from them I called the Bartender and asked for a rum.

"I think you-know-who we're talking about." Ben hissed in a low voice.

"Oh right." I shook my head from all the thoughts I had. "No I haven't."

Joe walked up to the lady and gave her a rum.

"Thanks" I downed it and asked for another, just before he left I grabbed his arm, "I need to speak to Ravyn where is she?"

"She's in the office, Would you like me to go get her?"
