Christmas day.

Ravyn sat at the bar. No one had come in, she knew it was Christmas but some people stayed at the school. She was bored so she crossed her arms on the bar and laid her head down. a few minutes later she heard an owl hoot, she smiled "Oh, hey girl!" Ravyn petted Peeps. The owl nuzzled up to Ravyn's hand. Her smile faded when a thought hit her, "Hey, I thought I told you to stay by daddy's side until he gave you a letter." Peeps hooted, "Where's it at then?" The owl hooted again and looked at the paper right in front or her. Ravyn sighed "Do I have to open it girl?" the owl bobbed her head. Ravyn sighed again and picked the letter up, she didn't want to know what her dads answer was. "Okay here I go." she gave the owl a weak crooked smile, and opened the letter. Ravyn scanned it and then placed it down on the bar. She knew what his answer was going to be, but she prayed it wasn't.

I walked in and saw Ravyn. "Hey Ravyn, what's up?"

Ravyn looked up, and saw Pandora, "Oh, nothing. Just being bored, I don't see why I even stay open, no one ever comes on Christmas."

"Well, I'm here now." I smile. "So what were you reading?"

Ravyn looked down at the letter, "Oh, just a letter from my dad." She smiled weakly

"Oh cool. How is he doing?"

"Okay I guess, I was hopping he would come for Christmas but he's staying where he's at."

"Hey Ravyn, I need your advice on something."

Ravyn looked up, "And what's that?"

"It's about Draco. I know that dating him was wrong and he broke my heart...though I should have known that was going to happen. He knew who killed my mother and didn't even tell me. We got in this huge fight and I told him I never wanted to see him again, but the truth is...I do want to see him. I just don't know what to do."

Ravyn looked down, "Well, you can't help who you love, your heart wants what it wants, Even if it's wrong, I think that you should talk to him, why did he keep it from you?"

"He said that he knew I would hate him if he told me, though he should have realized that I would hate him even more if he didn't tell me."

"Well, maybe he thought you would hate him more if he told you. But either way you would hate him either way."

"Well, I don't really hate him. I more hurt then anything else. I know it's not his fault that his dad killed my mom."

"No but you know some where down inside you blame him."

"Why would I blame him? He was only a baby when it happened and he has no control over his father's actions."

"True, but then why would you get mad if he was only protecting you from the truth?"

"Protect me? how is that protecting me? I was going to find out sooner or later. He couldn't hide it from me forever."

"But you would also be hurt because you are dating him and he would remind you of his father."

I shook my head. "No, I don't that's true. Appearances don't matter. It's what's inside that counts and Draco has proved that he is nothing like his father."

"I know he's not." She smiled.

"Then he won't remind me of his father."
