Thinking about things.

Ravyn was sitting at the edge of the lake with
her feet in the water. She laid back and closed her eyes, and soaked in the sunshine, it felt relaxing. She had a lot on her mind from breakfast, 'did a lot more people then she thought know that she was or is Snape's daughter...how long was it going to take for them to know she was Kendrix's twin sister....but they didn't look a like...nothing, not their smile, their eyes or even their nose....Why did Snape have her and not Kendrix...why didn't he take both of them...or just her....why didn't she live with the Malfoy's....' All these thoughts were running through her head, she wasn't even aware of her surroundings.

"So Ravyn, have you cooled off yet? Or are you still seething?" I asked from the tree I was sitting in. "And have you accepte the truth?"

With out opening her eyes, Ravyn said, "I accepted the truth about you the second I found out. but I still will never call your parents my own." She sighed trying to clear her head, Ignoring the other part of the question, because she in fact hadn't cooled off and probably wouldn't for a while.

"So I take it you are still seething? So out of curiosity what will you do if and when our parents get out?"

"I am not seething, I have come to terms with the fact I have a twin sister and her parents are in prison." She opened her eyes for a split second to see where Kendrix was and spotted her in a tree, she then closed them again and said, "What should I do? Jump for joy at the fact that my so called parents can come and cater to my every need after fifteen years?" A hint of a smile appeared, then was gone, "I think not! I have a father, who does that already, a father who loves me more than your parents ever have or did or will. I will simply turn my back on them when and if they get out, for all I care they can rot there!"

I was silent for a moment. Finally I said, "Whatever." I wanted to ask her, but I couldn't...or wouldn't. I wasn't sure which. I wanted to know.

"There's something on your mind." she paused for a minute, "I can feel it!" she felt strange, she knew Kendrix was thinking of something or wanted to say something, "If you want to yell at me than do it, don't hold it in, I am a big girl after all!"

"I...I don't want to yell at you. I just... Forget it." I wanted to, but I wasn't ready. Or maybe I was just afraid of the answer.

Ravyn opened her eyes, "No come out with it, You started now you have to finish it."

"I said forget it!" I snapped. "Now let it go."

Ravyn stood up and dusted her robes off, "Fine, if you don't want to talk then I'm leaving!" she started to walk away slowly, checking behind her hoping Kendrix would say something, she wanted to know what the question was.

"Fine." I wanted so much to ask, but part of me didn't want to and that part was winning out. Damn it. Why is it so hard for me? I punch the tree which wasn't really smart. Now my hand is all red. Great.

Ravyn stopped, "You have me curious now! So tell me what it is! and I don't want Lip from you either!"

I jump from the tree and walk up to her. "You want to know what's on my mind then fine! Since we now know that we are sisters I wonder if you will care about me. You say you grew up with a father that gave you everything well I haven't. My aunt and uncle spoiled Draco more since he is their own son and I'm just heir niece. I have always felt alone and that no one cares about me. I don't think that knowing we are sisters will change anything. We will continue on with our lives like we always have. I'm jealous of you. You have people that care for you and I have no one. No one would ever miss me. I told you. Are you happy now?"

Ravyn looked at her with glossy eyes, "You're jealous of me? My father sent me to France for four years because he didn't want people at this school to know he had a daughter, you knew who your mother was. I had the Weasleys yeah, but that didn't change the fact that my mother didn't want me and my father was ashamed of me! If I didn't care about you, I wouldn't be standing here now talking to you! you are my sister that is all that matters!" She looked around to see who was all there besides them, "If I didn't care about you being my sister, I wouldn't..." she hesitated, "You want to be jealous of me huh? then be jealous of the fact that I was pinned to the ground to get this stupid thing permanently!" she lifted up her sleeve to show her left wrist, there laid the dark mark.

"Yes I'm jealous of you. You have people that care about you. And I've never talked to my parents. I don't even know if they care about me or anything." After she showed me her mark I smirked. "It looks like we are one in the same." I lift up my sleeve to show her that I have the mark as well.

She pulled her sleeve down and sat down, "Why would they care about me, No one knows I have the mark. I've had it since my first year, I was told I had no choice! I have to have it or I would be killed! Do you know who put it on me?" she wiped her eyes, "professor Quirrel!"

"I had no choice either." I bit my lip. That may have been partly true, but I was lying. "So did Quirrel go to France just to see you out and put the mark on you?"

"No I met him in the leaky cauldron, the day he tried to break into Gringotts"

"When did you say Snape sent you to France?"

"I was sent to France my first year." she looked at her curiously "Why?"

"And if it was done when Quirell broke into Gringotts that would make you in your first year correct? So then were sent to France after that or something?"

"I was sent to France about two weeks before that to get situated, but my father told me I had to come home the day before start of term."

"Why did you have to come back if you just had to leave again?"

"Just because he wanted Voldemort to put the mark on me! I don't it's my dad!"
