Looking for what is lost

Ravyn was walking all around the school grounds, for something she had lost. "Ray, What are you looking for?" George asked every five minutes but she wouldn't answer, "Fine don't tell me." He started walking off.

"I'm looking for something my dad gave me!"

"Ravyn! What is it?" George was getting angry.

"It's nothing okay!" she started to cry, she couldn't help it.

"Fine! When you want to talk then you can come find me!" George walked angrily towards the castle.

Ravyn wiped her face and continued looking.

I was sitting under a tree with my book when I saw Rayvn. "Looking for something?"

"Why would I be looking for anything?" she asked, hoping she hadn't heard the conversation between her and George.

"You just look like you lost something."

"No I'm just bored." she smiled.

I stood up. "So you wouldn't be looking for a necklace that's shaped like an R?" I hold out the necklace.

Ravyn looks at her, "Where did you find that?" I ran up to her and reached for it.

I pulled the necklace away from her. "What does it matter where I found it? Besides you said you weren't looking for anything."

Ravyn backed away, "I...Uh....I wasn't....I mean I didn't know I lost it until you showed me!" she eyed the necklace. "Can I please have it back, my dad gave it to me!"

"I'm sure. If your dad gave it to you then it must mean something to you. And if it means something to you then you would keep a close eye on it and would know if it was lost." I looked at the necklace. "That's interesting." I mumbled to myself.

"Give it back!" I snatched it out of her hands and looked at what she was just looking at, "What was so interesting about it? It's just an 'R'"

"It...it had my name on it."

Ravyn looked again, "No it doesn't! Why would it? MY DAD gave it to me!" she said again.

"I know what I saw. I didn't imagine it. Let me see it again."

She pulled it away "No! it's mine." she looked at the necklace again and turned it over in her fingers. "It's just an 'R' okay."

"I promise I will give it back. If you want you can keep my necklace until I do. My parents gave me my it to me so it means a lot."

Ravyn looked at it then her, "Fine!"

I took off my necklace and gave it to her. "I looks a little like yours only it's a K."

Ravyn looked over Kendrix's necklace and noticed it had 'Ravyn' engraved in it. She shoved it back into the owners hands and grabbed hers back, "I want that back!"

"fine. Don't be so grabby. I knew I saw my name on your necklace...but why?"

"I can't help you there but I saw my name on yours too!"

I look at my necklace, but there was nothing there. "This is weird. Why would our names be on each others necklaces?"

"I don't know but I would like to know the same thing!" Ravyn looked at her necklace, there had to be a reason for all of this!

"Well I'm sure I could ask aunt Narcissa. She is my mom's sister so she would know."

"Then ask her!" She was getting a little anxious.
